I thought I would show you our Ted Baker luggage set in action and
share tips on packing for a short weekend getaway.

My suitcase is from Vince Camuto. It was originally $280 and I got it for $69.99
at Marshalls a few years ago. I recently checked and both TJ Maxx and Marshalls
have great options for quality luggage at a great price.
When packing for a short weekend getaway you probably won't need enough clothes to fill a small suitcase.
In order to prevent your clothes from moving around and getting wrinkled
I will pack my shoes in their box to help keep me organized and clothes wrinkle free.
On the way home if you have done some trip shopping
you can just remove the boxes and use the space.
On one side I will put my clothes. The other side will contain my shoes, toiletries,
hair tools, chargers, and a small purse. I travel with a tote on the airplane.
Packing in a neutral palette is always best for me. It also takes the guesswork out of packing.
I tend to take a lot of black because it's easy to make a black dress and jeans
look different with just popping in a few accessories.
Scarves are always great to have and double for swim sarongs.
I also love having a fabric recycle bag. See below.
Folded up it takes up almost no space.
You can use this at the pool or hot tub.
Pack shopping in it for the trip home.
Put dirty clothes in it.
Use it to keep your hair tools tidy while in the hotel.
Put underclothing in it and hang in a closet.
And the list goes on . . .
Below is a great list I found to help me to not forget any toiletries.
On mine I have swapped the glasses for headache medicine.
If you travel often I would recommend printing your list
or having it on your phone. Then packing is a snap.
I would also recommend having the Uber app and the local weather
ready-to-go on your phone.
Check back as I will be adding to this post today.
Thank you for visiting! xoxo
