My Mom's Farmhouse Kitchen

I'm excited to give you a tour of my Mom's farmhouse kitchen
and share some of her styling tips.

Her kitchen is so light and airy.
It is completely open from her family room making it inviting
and perfect for entertaining.

Tip:  Add fresh plants for a pop of color and life.

Tip:  By mindful of the view from your kitchen into other rooms.

This is a look into her laundry room.

Tip:  Display the items you regularly use.
For example:  bread boards, wooden spoons, wooden scrub brushes
It adds to the charm and functionality of your kitchen.

(wooden brushes available at the shop)

A French Blue

We love a nice French shade of blue.
My handbag can be found here and it's color ac-blue.
The functionality for this handbag is just what I need so I'm ordering the brown for fall.

Below is our signature La Vie Parisienne bracelet in ice blue.
They created this bracelet just for us years ago and we are honored to carry it.

It is one of my most-worn bracelets.

My favorite feature of this handbag are the four outside pockets.
I use the front pocket for my phone, the back pocket for my keys,
and the side pockets for my sunglasses and Built Bar.  They are the perfect size.

See a video inside my handbag on Instagram at madeleinelamour.

Happy Earth Day!

In celebration of Earth Day bring in your recycle tote and receive 20% off any item of choice.
We appreciate and encourage the use of recycle totes.
This is the tote I use and it's also available to purchase.

Also today enjoy 20% off all soaps.  Let's say no to body wash in thick plastic bottles.
Soaps are wrapped in a thin plastic for sanitation and gifting,
but we also have them without plastic available in jars.

Here's to doing something today that our future earth will thank us for.

Much love!

Click here for the link to the exercise skirt I wore on stories.

It's the style/color:  Black pleated heather gray

Hope that helps!

Pad Thai Night!

Click here for the recipe I used for my Pad Thai.  I love this recipe!

I was unable to find the sprouted beans at my local grocery store, but it was fine without them.

Click here for a good Thai green bean side dish.

I should have made mango sticky rice for dessert, but you can never go wrong with a Snickerdoodle.

Let me know if you try the recipe.  Tag us on Instagram at madeleinelamour.

Thank you for visiting!

We were recently re-stocked in our best-selling tea towels!

I recently shared some of my kitchen organizing tips on Instagram.

Click here for some of my favorite food storage containers.  Good price.  BPA free.

I try not to use baggies or plastic wrap.

Easter Ideas

Without changing a lot in our home, but just by adding a few spring touches
here and there, it brings the season to life!
I love using vintage baskets and mixing stripes with florals.

I have been collecting things a few weeks now for my boys' Easter baskets.
They are looking to purchase a place of their own in the upcoming year and
I have started gifting them home essentials that they won't want to buy
as they only like to buy bike-related items.  haha

If you are filling a girl's Easter basket I love Lollia's Breathe.
It has the most beautiful packaging and is our best-selling fragrance for spring/summer.

Also comes in a mini size.  $12.

On Instagram I shared a local blogger's cute Easter ideas.
Find us on Instagram at madeleinelamour.  Click here for affordable paper biodegradable egg cartons
that you can get in time for Easter!  They would also be cute filled with flowers
for Mother's Day if you have some left over.

Thanks for visiting!
