Peonies

The sweetest customer surprised me with peonies from her garden.
They are absolutely stunning and my favorite flower!
Thank you so much Sharon!

She also shared with me her gardening tips for growing these beautiful flowers.

Sharon's Tips

Late Spring:  Deadhead Peonies religiously and remove all fallen petals
or blooms from the garden.

Summer:  Herbaceous Peonies do best with an inch of water a week.

Fall:  Cut stems of Herbaceous Peonies back to soil level and remove from area.

Note: If your soil is poor, the time to apply fertilizer
(bonemeal, compost, or well-rotted mature)
is early summer, after the peonies have bloomed and you have deadheaded the flowers.

Featured with new bracelets from La Vie Parisienne.

My favorite new earrings.

Wishing you a happy Monday!
